Mods mods mods!

The Tesla scene is jam packed with mods! I'll post little by little what I've managed to do in a week.

First up, the basics.  Wheel locks.  I scoured the internet for suitable wheel locks. Didn't really find anything on point. Took a chance.  I wanted something that did NOT have a hex head as those would be easier for thieves to take a tool to such as a reversing socket.  I found something externally round with an internal key. Just what I wanted.  Theft proof? Likely not. But if I can buy a few seconds or even minutes for $20, I'm all in.

This tool is an absolute MUST for Tesla 20" induction wheels.  Do NOT use the steel factory hook or other similar metal pin/hook/hanger recommendations as those tools will 100% chew up the delicate THIN plastic of these center caps.  For sure buy these cheap bicycle wheel plastic tools. (<--- LINK TO BUY) They are a PERFECT fit for the center caps!!

Perfect height match, thread and thread pitch and lug seat.  INTERNAL key. Do not buy locks with an external key otherwise it's easy to take any larger socket and hammer it on.

Torque to 129 ft-lbs using a 1/2" Torque Wrench

Almost forgot-- if you do get these wheel locks, you'll need a deep 22mm socket for them.  I like this one because it has a nylon wheel protector.

I appreciate it if you use my Amazon affiliate links. I get a small commission for purchases made using my links.  I only share products I personally use and truly enjoy.
