I have over 20 years of experience at modifying, repairing, restoring, upgrading, and detailing cars. So I hope to document my experience of new Tesla ownership including any mods, upgrades, and enhancements I do!
Here is my Model Y. I initially had a Model Y on order in early February 2023 but it wasn't ready until the May time frame. So I went on a Tesla stock aggregator site and found three local Model Y long ranges ready for immediate delivery. I clicked on a gray one but when I went to check out, it was gone. Next up, this black one. Hit the order button and it was mine! The only catch is it was in Sacramento. So I had to fly from SoCal to Sacramento to pick it up then drive back. 2.5 sessions at the wonderful Tesla Superchargers and I was home sweet home. The front end was filled with bugs!
