New Tesla Model Y Accessory / Cupholder / Phone Holder Mod (center console)

 I got this cupholder insert off AliExpress. Took a week to get here from China. Not bad.   I wanted a place to hold my iPhone 14 Pro that wasn't the wireless charger (kind of far to access) and not the cupholder (in case I have drinks there) this mod gives me a natural place to place my phone. Due to the angle of the slot, the phone will tilt back towards you. but that's fine since you shouldn't be looking at your phone as you drive anyway.  I drilled a small hole on the right side pocket so I can slide my USB-C/Lightning Right Angle charging cable through.

 Here's how my Tesla rear door PPF looks installed today combined with mudguards!! 

 Hardly noticeable!!  I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DO NOT use the included hard plastic squeegee. It scratches the film. Use a felt-tipped squeegee or a soft rubber squeegee included in most amazon kits.

If you drive a Tesla Model Y, you know all too well that the design of the car and the way the front wheels jut out create a condition where the front wheels kick up a LOT of rocks.  Only 500 miles in on my new car and I discovered rock chips on the rear door.  Also the lower black trim panel was all nicked up from rocks and debris.  If you just took delivery of your Model Y, you will want to install mud flaps ASAP. In fact buy these before you even drive your car off the lot. They take 2-3 minutes per corner to install, if that.  You just need a simple flat tip screw driver to pop two plastic clips per mud guard.  You'll see the stock clips in each location. BEISURELY MUDGUARDS - Amazon Link

So I was looking for mud guards (or Mud Flaps) for my 2023 Tesla Model Y.  Normally I am very picky and wanted the OEM Tesla Mudguards.  However they were only for the front and I don't like the flat design which makes the car look like a rally car.

Other brands I've seen online from all the major Tesla stores are out of stock or back ordered.

So I took a chance at these Beisurely guards -- there's a million versions online but honestly these are great. Fitment is tight and near perfect.  Super easy to install too using provided plastic rivets. 

Only 500 miles in, the rear lower section at the rear passenger door from rocks. Yes that's missing paint.

Touch up any rock chips!  I recommend also installing clear PPF (Amazon link)for added protection as the mud guards do NOT provide 100% protection. Maybe 85%.
